President
In 2005, Jane Peverett was appointed President and CEO of BCTC. Prior to joining BCTC, Jane was President and CEO of Union Gas Limited in Toronto. Before joining Union Gas, she held senior positions at Westcoast Energy in Vancouver.
Jane has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, a Masters Business Administration from Queen's University, and a Certified Management Accountant designation. She was made a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants in 2003.
In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Jane serves on the Board of Directors of EnCana Corporation, Northwest Natural Gas Co., the Canadian Electricity Association, the Business Council of BC, and is a member of the United Way of the Lower Mainland Campaign Cabinet. She has served on the Boards of the Stratford Festival of Canada, the Canadian Gas Association, the Ontario Energy Association, the Society of Management Accountants of BC and Junior Achievement of BC.
