BC Hydro’s Calls for Power: Interconnection Procedures

BCTC has designed an interconnection procedure for BC Hydro's Competitive Electricity Acquisition Process (CEAP). This was approved by the BC Utilities Commission and has been in effect since July 1, 2007.

Following BC Hydro's selection process, successful IPPs will then follow BCTC's regular Standard Generator Interconnection Procedures (SGIP) beginning with the signing of the Combined Study Agreement.

What does this procedure look like?

High level and detailed process charts will provide you with an overview of the CEAP process:

These process charts are generic and can change, upon mutual agreement between BCTC and BC Hydro, for BC Hydro’s Calls for Power.
