Northern British Columbia is experiencing increasing economic growth. Rising investment in mining, gas and transportation is creating new opportunities for development, as well as new challenges for our electricity system. It’s time to increase the electricity transmission capacity to this region of the province.
We recently built a new substation, the Fox Creek substation, in the Fort St. John area in order to help meet the growing electricity needs of Northeastern British Columbia.
