Competitive Selection Process
ILM Design-Build Transmission Line
BCTC is implementing a two stage competitive selection process to select a Contractor who will design, procure the materials for and construct the ILM transmission line.
The Request for Qualifications (stage 1) was issued on BC Bid on January 28, 2009. A Respondent Information Meeting for the RFQ was held on February 9, 2009. A copy of the presentation from that meeting is posted here (PDF, 3.3.MB)
As a result of the RFQ, the four teams set out below have been selected as Qualified Respondents.
- Allteck Line Contractors Inc.
- Flatiron-Graham
- Peter Kiewit and Sons
- Valard-NAC–Burns & McDonnell
The Request for Proposals Stage (stage 2) will include selection of the Preferred Proponent and awarding of the Contract.
