Capital Plan

BCTC has filed the F2010 – F2019 Capital Plan with the BC Utilities Commission.
 
The Capital Plan details capital investment for the next two years and provides an outlook of potential investments for the following eight years, outlining $5.3 billion in expenditures to ensure British Columbians continue to benefit from reliable, clean and efficient electricity.

Capital Plan Expenditures


The plan includes projects required to address customer load growth, generator interconnections, transmission congestion, mitigation of risk to the transmission system and replacement of aging or obsolete equipment to ensure the safety and reliability of the system, and building efficient new infrastructure to supply the needs of communities.
