Area Control Error Diversity Interchange, or ADI, is an initiative that is improving the integration, coordination and efficiency of several Balancing Authorities within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. BCTC is the host of the ADI initiative, which has been operating since April 2007.
The orientation workshop will provide participants with an overview of ADI - the philosophy behind it, how it works, and what it achieves. This will be a technical workshop. Anticipated audience for the workshop is system operators, transmission customers, transmission owner’s representatives, regulators.
