BCTC's Aboriginal Business Development Program seeks to develop a pool of skilled, qualified and competitive Aboriginal suppliers in the province from which BCTC can draw in the procurement of goods and services. The Aboriginal Business Directory is a database of supplier information that is used to match Aboriginal businesses with upcoming contracts or with other businesses for partnership opportunities.
Companies or joint ventures with substantial Aboriginal ownership should register with BCTC to be eligible for contract work under the Aboriginal Sourcing Program.
Why Register?
Registering your business in our Aboriginal Business Directory allow us to pre-qualify your business for upcoming contracts. By creating a company profile with BCTC, your company can participate in BCTC's Aboriginal Business Development Program, which provides preferred vendor status.
Who Should Register?
Companies with Aboriginal employees or owners and capabilities in vegetation management, construction, transmission line maintenance and stations should sign up to be eligible for upcoming tenders and development opportunities. Find out more about Potential Contract Opportunities.
Registration Process
Please use either the online registration form or download a copy of the manual registration form (DOC, 74KB) to register your company. Information entered into these forms will be kept on file with BCTC and will be used to help us identify businesses that have capabilities for work in areas across BC throughout the year. Be sure to keep your company information up to date.
